In The Flesh

(Poems from a moving car)

This work is a vivid and introspective reflection on personal turmoil, complex family dynamics, and the fragile line between humor and despair. Through disjointed yet poignant images, we navigate and construct a narrative that is both emotionally raw and detached. Reflecting on life, family, and the meaning of self, this work strikes a balance between surrealism and stark realism, creating a tone that feels dreamlike and haunting at the same time. This is all shot on 35 MM, most of it from hotel rooms and my own car while going places.
